AI & the Graduate Research Process (In-person)
October 24 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm HST
AI, such as ChatGPT, has rapidly become an important tool in the research process, but like any tool it can be used incorrectly. This workshop examines the usefulness of this tool along with other AI apps for assisting graduate students in scholarly research tasks, exploring use cases, limitations, and best practices in creating effective prompts, as well as considering the responsible use of this technology. Learn to use freely available AI tools to search for information more efficiently and accurately. This workshop is co-sponsored by UH Mānoa Hamilton Library. Limited seats available. In-person attendance details will be emailed to registrants prior to the event. For questions about topics covered, please email sciref@hawaii.edu.
