Blueprints 2026

We are excited to invite you to Blueprints, a student orientation for incoming College of Engineering students at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa!

What is Blueprints?

Blueprints is an engineering student orientation and it’s your chance to get a head start before the semester begins! This full-day event includes:

• Breakout sessions on academic departments and student support programs

• A Lunch Social, where you can meet fellow engineering students while enjoying a free meal (provided)

• A Student Club Fair, where you can meet members of our Affiliate Student Organizations (ASOs), learn about engineering clubs and project teams, and sign up to get involved

• Guided tours of the engineering labs/VIP projects

Whether you're curious about your major, looking to get involved in student life, or just excited to meet your future classmates, Blueprints is the perfect place to begin your journey at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa College of Engineering.

8:30 - 9:30 Registration/Refreshments HIG 110 (Outside)

9:30 - 10:00 Welcome and Orientation HIG 110 (Auditorium)

10:15 - 10:45 Icebreaker & Breakout Session 1 Various locations

11:00 - 11:30 Icebreaker & Breakout Session 2 Various locations

11:30 - 12:30 Lunch Social & Student Club Fair Holmes Hall - outside

12:40 - 12:55 Lab Tours “A” Various locations

1:05 - 1:20 Lab Tours “B”- free choice Various locations

1:30 - 2:00 OPTIONAL Campus Tour Various locations

Late Arrival Instructions:

Even if you're unable to attend the full event due to housing move-in or other mandatory obligations, we still encourage you to register and attend what you can. You’re welcome to join us for any portion of the day that fits your schedule!

• If you arrive by 10:15 AM, please head to the HIG Building auditorium (HIG 110) where we’ll have a registration table outside.

• If you arrive after 10:15 AM, we’ll have an info table at Holmes Hall. Please look for the registration table set up outside that building for assistance.
