The students in PLAN 751: Planning Practicum will be facilitating a community talk story in Waipahu that will feature the rail and transit-oriented development.
This will be a share and learn event. Student groups will share their current research on different issues associated with transit-oriented development such as climate change, placemaking, affordable housing, transportation, and community economic development, and learn how these might be supported by the community. The event is free and open to the public, and will have light pupus, giveaways, and a co-designing activity. Families with children welcome!
