UH Mānoa will conduct an integrated campus-wide test of its emergency communications capabilities next Thursday, December 9, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m..
The following will occur:
- Test EMAIL messages will go out to all UH Mānoa (including JABSOM/UHCC) students, faculty, staff and vicinity contacts.
- Test TEXT messages will be sent to those who have signed up to receive emergency TEXT messages. Sign up for emergency TEXT messages at https://www.hawaii.edu/alert/.
- The official UH Mānoa home page at https://manoa.hawaii.edu and social media accounts will be updated to reflect the test (follow us on Facebook and Twitter @uhmanoa). UH Mānoa Department of Public Safety social media accounts will also be updated to reflect this test (follow us on Facebook and Twitter @uhmanoasafety).
All members of the UH Mānoa community are urged to sign up to receive emergency TEXT alerts (if you have not already done so) by going online to the website at https://www.hawaii.edu/alert/. If you have already signed up, log in at https://www.hawaii.edu/alert/ to ensure that your contact information is up-to-date. You may test your cell phone information by sending a test message from the website to your phone.
