She started working at the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) as an Extension Home Economist in 1974 and retired in 2014, after 40 years of service. During her tenure in Oahu County, she developed exceptional educational programs which focused on 4-H youth development. Oahu 4-H and the Giant Pumpkin Contest Planning Team is sponsoring a fun and “Halloween Spirit” event for Oahu youth! Tap into your Halloween decorating and creative groove!
