You are invited to our 2025 CSAS Fall Gathering! Join us for chai and samosas!

We will be showcasing two short films by the Indian documentary filmmaker and dollmaker– Hansa Thapliyal.

Outside In (2021) (25 mins) and Kya Hai Ye Samjhauta (2025) (8 mins). Both films use doll-making as a medium of storytelling. Both films deal with serious themes like domestic violence and the artistic process in a playful and provocative manner.

Hansa Thapliyal will be offering a doll-making workshop via zoom in November, details TBD.
