Per UH President David Lassner’s message on March 18: All UH Mānoa public events shall be canceled until further notice.

If an event is not listed here, please check with your campus event coordinator or the person(s) in charge of the event.

Academic and Cultural Events

Ticket refunds for canceled spring UH Mānoa athletics events. UH Mānoa Athletics announced its refund policy for baseball and men’s volleyball tickets for games affected by the cancelation of the spring season.

Lyon Arboretum will be closed to the public starting August 10, 2020. We will remain closed at least until September 5, per the Mayor and Governor’s decision to close parks and public botanical gardens. Information about reopening to the public will be available on this page closer to that date.

Waikiki Aquarium has reopened, effective June 29.

UH Mānoa (Hamilton) Library is open only for those with a UH ID card or East-West Center ID card, until further notice. The public can remotely access reference and research assistance via chat, email and telephone.

The UH Mānoa (Hamilton) Library is launching a new “Request, Sign, Grab and Go” service for students, faculty and staff. The service begins Tuesday, May 26, the first day of Summer Session I, and all materials will need to be returned by August, 15, 2020.

The computer lab in the UH Mānoa (Hamilton) library remains open for the UH Mānoa community. Patrons are asked to continue practicing safer social distancing and wearing cloth masks when interacting with others. For more information on library services: https://manoa.hawaii.edu/library/

Beginning Thursday, March 19, the Student Success Center at Sinclair (old Sinclair Library) is open only for those with a UH ID card or East-West Center ID card, until further notice, and open only during a reduced hours of operation schedule.

American Savings Bank UH Mānoa Campus Branch is temporarily closed.

The ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center is closed to the public until further notice.
