Contactless Transactions

Due to the evolving situation of COVID-19, we are encouraging individuals to use contactless transactions as much as possible.

A list of contactless transactions are listed below, we also encourage you to call us at 956-8899 to see if we can assist over the phone or by email at parking@hawaii.edu. If you are required to conduct your transaction in person, please visit us during our business hours. Our new office hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., weekdays excluding State Holidays, allowing us time to clean the facilities.

Contactless transactions:

  • Pay citations online
  • Purchase permits online
    • All permits are sent via certified mail within 1-2 business days
    • Display your receipt on the dashboard until your permit arrives
    • See information below
  • Return your permit via mail
    • It is recommended that you use certified mail so permits can be tracked; however, this is not required. If permits are missing and no tracking information is available, then you are responsible for the cost of the permit, and no refund will be processed.

If you have any questions or need assistance making an appointment, please feel free to contact us at parking@hawaii.edu.

Purchase permits online

Due to COVID-19, there will be no in-person permit distribution. All permits will be mailed out at no charge via USPS certified mail. The highest priority address on your parking account must be an ʻOahu address. We recommend students update their address on their parking account as needed.

As a temporary measure, please display your printed receipt, showing at least the date of purchase and the permit purchased. A sample is shown below.
Permit receipt

Please redact all personal information (e.g. name, contact information, last four digits of your card info, etc.). This temporary measure will be valid until the day after we show delivery based on tracking information. Moped/Motorcycle permits will be exempt from the display of receipt.
