On September 19, 2025, the Center for Chinese Studies welcomed faculty, students, and friends to a beginning-of-the-year meet-and-greet in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The program featured a hands-on snow skin moon cake making activity, where participants learned about the ingredients, techniques, and traditions behind this seasonal delicacy. Faculty and students crafted their own moon cakes while sharing stories and reflections on Mid-Autumn customs.
The celebration offered a meaningful opportunity to engage with Chinese cultural traditions and to strengthen connections within the CCS community. The afternoon was filled with joy, laughter, and a spirit of togetherness that captured the very essence of the festival.
