William Kwai Yap Scholarship

The William Kwai Fong Yap Scholarship provides support for undergraduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa who are pursuing a focus or concentration in Chinese Studies. The purpose of this fund is to aid the tuition cost for one Chinese Studies-related course, promoting broader participation in Chinese Studies across departments and disciplines.

Funding Support

• Up to 8 students depending on funding availability
• $1,500 per student
