On November 15, 2025, the Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) participated in Discover Mānoa, the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s flagship outreach event showcasing programs and opportunities to prospective students and their families. The CCS table drew strong interest as visitors learned about the Center’s programs, faculty, and scholarship opportunities available to students pursuing Chinese studies.
To create an engaging and welcoming experience, CCS designed interactive games introducing participants to Chinese culture, language, and traditions. The games were especially popular with younger visitors, helping spark curiosity about Chinese history and culture.
CCS is committed to promoting global understanding and cross-cultural connections. Participation in Discover Mānoa reflects the Center’s ongoing effort to support future students and inspire the next generation of scholars in Chinese studies.
