Friends of UH Mānoa Children’s Center is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 organization run by the UHMCC parents.  Their mission is to enrich the Early Childhood experience of our keiki, support the staff, and strengthen our ‘ohana relationships by creating and supporting specific projects and activities.

Friends of UHMCC organization raises funds for specific projects and activities, such as chartering buses for an event or production off-site, or organizes and takes on the expenses relating to the program potlucks. These activities and events allow our program to present diverse experiences for both our children and our families.

We also use the members of Friends of UH Mānoa Children’s Center to continuously improve our program and its responsiveness to family and community needs. This is a platform for group collaboration, having input on Center policies impacting our families and helping the Center identify and research information and potential external services that we can share to support our children and their families.
