Are you preparing for an exciting journey to Taiwan this summer or in the near future? The Center for Chinese Language Education (CCLE) is here to ensure students are well-prepared for their adventure! With our “Ready for Taiwan” event series, students will gain essential knowledge about Taiwan’s language, culture, and travel insights before they embark on their trip. The slogan,「現在去Taiwan,不太晚!」, means it is always not too late to go to Taiwan.
To kick off the series, we are offering TOCFL Test Workshops designed to help students prepare for the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL). Whether students are looking to certify their proficiency or simply boost their confidence in Mandarin, these workshops will provide valuable strategies and resources.
On March 31, we have the honor of welcoming the Vice President of the Global Office from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU). She will provide an overview of NTHU, introduce the NTHU Huayu Best Scholarship, and share insights on applying to graduate school in Taiwan. If students are considering further education, they will learn how Taiwan’s tuition fees compare favorably to those in the U.S., making it a compelling choice for their academic future.
Mark your calendars for April 24, when we will host an engaging travel tips and Taiwan insights session. This gathering will help students navigate Taiwan like pros—covering must-visit spots, transportation tips, cultural etiquette, and more.
Finally, before students take off, they shouldn’t miss our pre-departure training session, the culminating event in the “Ready for Taiwan” series. This session will ensure they are fully equipped with practical knowledge and cultural understanding for a smooth transition to life in Taiwan.
Stay tuned for more details, and we can’t wait to see students at these events! Let’s get Ready for Taiwan together!
