Fundamentals, techniques, and applications of remote sensing for natural resource assessments and environmental monitoring. Lab consisting of field radiometric exercises, computer modeling of energymatter interaction, processing, and analysis of remotely sensed imagery. Pre: one physics course (e.g. PHYS 151), one calculus course (e.g. 203), and one statistics course (e.g. 310), or consent.
