Class Presentations for Your Students

The Mānoa Career Center can visit your class and help students connect what they are learning with their plans after graduation. Our career counselors offer presentations and workshops on resumés, CVs, interviews, and job search strategies that can be tailored to your course or program.

Bring career preparation into your classroom

Mānoa Career Center offers in-class presentations and workshops designed to support your students’ career development. We can align sessions with your assignments, program outcomes, or specific industries your students are exploring.

We currently offer presentations on topics such as:

• Resumé and cover letter
• Curriculum vitae (CV)
• Interview tips and preparation
• Resumé as a career development tool
• Job search strategies

These sessions work well when:

• Your students are creating a resumé or CV for your class
• You want to build career preparation into your syllabus
• You will be away at a conference or meeting and want a meaningful, career-focused class session

How to request a presentation

To schedule a class presentation or workshop, please contact us at least two weeks in advance. This gives us time to confirm a presenter, tailor the session to your course, and prepare any materials your students may need.
