Want a career in law enforcement? Want to make a real difference in your community? Are you passionate about helping those in crisis? If so, you should consider joining HPD!
HPD's Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) is looking for passionate students who would like a career in law enforcement and who value trauma-informed care.
Join us for an info session about the Honolulu Police Department’s Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), a community collaboration focused on mental health and trauma-informed care.
Learn how CIT officers are trained to:
- Recognize signs of emotional distress
- Safely de-escalate high-stress situations
- Connect people to the care and services they need
This session is a great opportunity for students interested in health, law, social work, or public service to explore how compassionate crisis response is shaping safer, more supportive communities — and how you can get involved.
Sponsored by: Mānoa Advocate Office and Mānoa Career Center Sign-ups are encouraged, walk-ins are welcome!
