Central Intelligence Agency Information Session & Operations Simulation
Wednesday, October 23, 2019
4:00 – 6:00pm
QLCSS Room 412
CIA Representatives will provide information regarding the CIA and the variety of career and internship opportunities available. Undergraduates and Graduates of all academic disciplines are encouraged to attend. All CIA positions require US citizenship and relocation to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Following the information session, the audience will be asked to look at a historic figure, Albert Einstein, as if he had been a clandestine intelligence source for the US government at the start of WWII. How would you evaluate the information he provided for intelligence and/or operational value? What else would you need to assess besides the information itself? This exercise will focus on and highlight the different career tracks within the Directorate of Operations as well as illustrate how the different Directorates all work together to further CIA’s mission to collect and disseminate HUMINT (human intelligence).
