New Spring 2012 Course

A new course, MCB 472: The Biology of Cancer will be taught this Spring 2012 semester. This course is an advanced undergraduate course for students with an interest in the contemporary approach to:

  • Molecular and cellular basis of carcinogenesis
  • Detection and diagnostic features of tumors
  • Experimental approaches and model systems to studying cancer
  • Tumor immunology and immunotherapy
  • Conventional and advanced approaches to the pharmacological treatment of cancer
