Have you dreamed of collecting both course and program assessment data efficiently, without extra tests or surveys? With Lamakū’s built-in functions, you can! Imagine this: the moment you enter rubric scores for an assignment, you can instantly see how well students achieved each targeted course student learning outcome (SLO), giving you immediate feedback to adjust teaching. When your course SLOs are aligned with program SLOs, the same data can be shared effortlessly with program leaders — through a quick screenshot or by giving them direct access in Lamakū. This efficient method streamlines data collection, supporting timely program-level decisions for learning improvement.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the essential Lamakū functions for course-level assessment, including:
- entering course SLOs
- setting achievement levels
- aligning quizzes, assignments, and rubrics with SLOs
- choosing achievement calculation methods
- viewing and interpreting the Master Gradebook for immediate insights.
Participants will also explore their own embedded assessment strategies — how to turn course-level results into program-level evidence of learning — and practice setting up Lamakū assessment functions to reflect their chosen approach.
