Eligibility
- Faculty or staff member in an academic degree program who can contribute to curriculum decisions in higher education institutions,
- Faculty/staff who plan to contribute to program- or institution-level learning assessment.
- Individual or teams of 2-3 people.
Fees
Fees: $900 per person. Fee waived for UH Mānoa faculty/staff.
Payment deadline: July 15, 2022. Payment instructions:
- Complete the application and be admitted.
- After you receive an acceptance letter, confirm participation to receive an invoice. A third person can pay on your behalf.
- If you pay by check, make the check payable to “University of Hawaiʻi.”

Expectations
- Attend all synchronous Zoom meetings on August 5 and 8-12, 2022, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM HST.
- Finish all required readings and video recordings before coming to the live session.
- Fall 2022: Small group meetings (in-person or virtual) and project support
- Spring 2023
- Present at the Mānoa Poster Exhibit (or another scholarly event). Date TBA.
Recognition
Successful institute completers receive a Certificate of Achievement and a book on assessment, teaching, learning.
