A specialist from the Manoa Assessment Office provided the NREM department with a well-received presentation/discussion on the importance of program assessment.
Planned activities proposed last year will be continued this year. The department did submit a request to hire an APT position to assist with undergraduate/graduate advising and program assessment, however, this hiring request was not approved by CTAHR administration for the current year. The department will likely submit a similar request for this year's hiring round.
