8) Briefly explain the assessment activities that took place.
For Fall 2014, Fall, 2015, and Fall 2017 a variety of data was used to assess SLOs. This included: student surveys, exit interviews from graduating seniors, and faculty assessment of student papers.

Convenience sampling was used for all quantitative and qualitative data. The department used three years of survey data for the Fall 2017 report, and the bigest sample size was N=76. For interview data, the biggest sample size was N=10.
