Our program, the Writing Center, was relocated to the English Department and came under new supervision in August of 2012. As a result, many of the practices have been redesigned over the past year.  As part of this restructuring, we incorporated new software more aligned with the needs and goals articulated in writing center pedagogy. Our outcomes and assessment strategies are thus also being re-evaluated to ensure that outcomes are articualted in such a way as to ensure that the concepts can be operationalized and assessed. We are currently implementing several assessment tools, but, while we do have use data, outcomes data will not be available until the close of this academic year.
