13) Other important information

2010-2011 marked a period of major transition for the Schoolf of Social Work.   Dr. Noreen Mokuau was appointed new Interim Dean for the SSW in August 2010.  By the end of that academic year, there were many new changes in faculty positions.  The following positions changed faculty:

Asst. to the Dean, BSW Program Chair, MSW Program Chair, and the Assessment Committee Chair.

The shifts in leadership also impacted the continuity of operations and the program focus.  As a result, the plans of the advising assessment also transitioned -- hopefully, with a beter refinement of purpose & methods.

Unfortunately, the initial date that we collected and gave to the Assessment Committee was lost in the transition of faculty.  This year, the BSW program chairs met with the new Assessment Chair, Dr. Seunghye Hong, Sara Okamura & mari Ono to develop an Assessment Plan.
