The purpose of this project was to establish a systematic process to gather program learning outcome data. This project describes the experience of two faculty members from different undergraduate programs trying to navigate the waters of assessment. To establish a systematic approach required programs to align Student Learning Outcomes from courses to Program Learning Outcomes, and Program Learning Outcomes to Institutional Learning Outcomes within specific software. After these are all aligned and mapped within the software, programs and institutions can catch the wave of obtaining assessment data. By Joel Reece & Charles Bradshaw
