ABOUT
Excellence in Assessment for Improvement: Hōpoe Assessment Award (Hōpoe Award) is a faculty senate award, granted by the Committee on Education Effectiveness (CEE) and operationally supported by the Office of Vice Provost for Academic Excellence via Assessment and Curriculum Center at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
VALUES
Hōpoe describes fully blossomed ōhi‘a lehua flowers. For this award, hōpoe symbolizes flourishing and full bloom. This award celebrates programs that demonstrate exemplary dedication to the continuous improvement of curriculum and student learning through effective, collaborative assessment practices.
ELIGIBILITY
All degree programs that submit the biennial assessment report and request peer feedback.
