On February 13, MAIA student Edgardo Díaz Vega presented his research at the 25th International Graduate Student Conference (IGSC), hosted by the East–West Center (EWC).
The presentation focused on comparative research of Thailand and Myanmar’s governance and politics from 2020 to 2025. His presentation at IGSC contributed to the development of his capstone research project and to his continued focus on Southeast Asia.
He is especially thankful to the EWC for providing the funding that has enabled him to focus on developing the research that was fundamental to his presentation.
