This past October, Asian Studies Associate Professor Dr. Lonny Carlile presented his paper, entitled "Infrastructure Building and Outcomes of the Okinawan Development Regime, 1972-2001."
He presented his paper at the "Island Infrastructures: Confinement, Coherence and Connections" Symposium, which was held in Tsushima, Japan. This conference was sponsored by the International Research Center for Japanese Studies (Nichibunken).
