The Wellness Program has two prongs; activities provided by ARC staff and activities planned and sponsored by the Peer Mentor Ohaha (PMO), RIO Affiliated with ARC.

Wellness Sessions

– To reduce challenges and prevent future problems and issues.

Learn a relatively unique, simple and quite effective form of meditation to increase the level of positivity and success in your life. The technique is flexible and can be applied outside of the meditation space. Descriptions of the experience include calming, uplifting, motivating and joyful.

Painting Workshop

We spent a beautiful afternoon immersed in the art of painting, creating our own unique masterpieces while enjoying a much-needed creative break together. The experience offered a fun and relaxing way to unwind, connect, and express ourselves during a busy time of year. We’re excited to see everyone’s pieces once they’re glazed and fired—ready to take home and enjoy just in time for finals and the holiday season!

Sailing

Being on a sailboat connects us to a much larger sense of self, clears the mind from worries, and immerses us in nature with its many beneficial effects on our mental and physical well-being…

PMO Ohana enjoyed a relaxing morning on the water together, feeling refreshed and ready to lock in!

Friendship Lunch

Eating together feels good! Sharing a meal, connecting with others, and reminding ourselves that we deserve to pause, refuel, enjoy good company. Moments like these show how something as simple as a shared lunch can spark meaningful community.
