Biography

Youngoh Jung is an Assistant Professor in the American Studies department. He is an Asian American Studies scholar and an interdisciplinary historian focusing on the politics of race, gender, and US empire, with an emphasis on diasporic Korean American history. He received his Ph.D in History with a Specialization in Critical Gender Studies from UC San Diego in 2024.
