04 Aug NEH Museum Institute

Here is an article from the Star Advertiser about the NEH museum institute that Noelle Kahanu and Karen Kosasa have been working on since January 2022, Weaving a Net(work) of Care for Oceanic Collections: A Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Institute. From January through June they met online via zoom. During the entire month of July they met in-person. 

They partnered with the East-West Center which helped to facilitate travel and housing arrangements, hosted the classroom and meeting spaces, and opened up their gallery for a special exhibition.
