Congratulations to Halena Kapuni-Reynolds!
Halena was featured on Hawaiʻi News Now, Thursday, January 11th, 2024, on the evening news.
He is currently an Associate Curator of of Native Hawaiian History and Culture at the Smithsonianʻs National Museum of the American Indian. The news piece emphasizes that it is the first time the museum has hired a curator dedicated to one cultural group.
Halena is currently in American Studies doctoral program working on his dissertation manuscript. He also completed a certificate in the Museum Studies program.
