Bio
Dr. Becker received her PhD in Economics from Maastricht University and was awarded a European Commission Marie Curie Doctoral Fellowship. She received her MPA from New York University and was named a NYU Public Service Scholar. Prior to grad school, Dr. Becker was in the foreign service evaluating and managing humanitarian aid and development aid to countries affected by natural disasters, civil wars and drug trafficking. Her research interests include drug addiction, treatment and prevention.
