Bio
Dr. Lee is an Assistant Researcher at the Center on Aging at the University of Hawaiʻi, where she earned her Ph.D. in Public Health. With a strong background in gerontology, psychology, and public health, along with expertise in program evaluation and data analysis, she has contributed to large-scale public health intervention programs for older adults in Hawaiʻi, with a particular focus on food security. In her role as a program evaluator and data analyst, she developed a model to predict the prevalence of older adult food insecurity at the local level using public data, enabling a more efficient allocation of resources. Currently, she serves as an evaluation lead, supporting multiple programs that address the needs of older adults, funded by diverse federal and state agencies, including the Administration for Community Living, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Hawaiʻi Department of Community Services.
