State of Hawai'i High School students, & families are invited to this FREE event!

The UH Mānoa Office of Admissions is hosting the 5th annual Explore Mānoa event this fall for State of Hawaiʻi high school students (9 th – 12 th grade) & their families to discover the opportunities at UH Mānoa:

  • Meet faculty, staff, & current students from various academic programs & student services
  • Get familiar with the admissions process
  • Submit an admissions application with assistance from an Admissions Officer
  • Check your admissions application status
  • Learn ways to finance college, including the FAFSA & UH Mānoa Scholarships
  • Participate in tours of the campus, residence halls, & more
  • Have photo booth fun - Rainbow Warrior style!

*Registration is required for students & groups; receive an exclusive UH Mānoa tote bag at the event check-in.

Eenie meenie miney moe…is not the best way to choose a major, join current Academic Advisors as they discuss practical ways to identify the best fit major for you. Learn ways to identify good major fits while in high school to prepare for college and why being 'exploratory' (undecided) is also a good path.

Getting a college education isn’t free, but paying for school shouldn’t overwhelm you. Learn all about financial aid from a Financial Aid Counselor. Attend this session to find out what financial aid is, about the process and why you should apply even if you think you are ineligible.

Did you know that UH Mānoa awards over $1.5 million in merit based scholarships to incoming freshmen every year? The New Warrior Scholarships are some of the University's most sought after scholarships. This workshop will give you the opportunity to meet with current UHM Scholars and gain insider tips to make your scholarship applications stand out!
