About Project Application:

  • You cannot “save as you go” with this Project Application Form. Take time beforehand to prepare answers to the questions in this application and have your Proposal and Supplement documents ready to upload in PDF files
  • Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required
  • Have your Mentor Form submitted by the deadline by your UHM mentor
  • Multiple submissions are not accepted, only the first submission will be considered unless you contact our office prior to the deadline
  • Failure to follow all directions may result in disqualification of your application
  • Group members must submit individual application forms and identical uploads

Submissions will result in an “Application Form Received” message after you hit the “Submit” button as well as an email sent to the @hawaii.edu address indicated in the form.

  • If you hit submit and get a blank form, your application form was not successfully submitted
  • If you do not receive a notification email that your application form was received, then it was not successfully submitted
  • Troubleshoot by sending an email by the deadline to urop@hawaii.edu and attach your .pdf proposal and .pdf supplement; we will respond during office hours
  • If it is a .pdf upload error, please upload your proposal and/or supplement as a .docx, and we will convert for you
