Entrance Exam Preparation
The entrance exam for each professional school is important and should be prepared for diligently because professional programs use the exam when deciding who to accept into their program. For entrance exams, we recommend taking 6-12 months to study for them. Please see below the opportunities for exam preparation.
PAC Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship
Description: The Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship is awarded to current University of Hawaʻi students who demonstrate commitment to continuing their post-secondary education beyond earning a bachelor’s degree. There are four types of Kaplan Test Prep Scholarships available: GRE, GMAT or LSAT, DAT/OAT/PCAT, and MCAT. The scholarship will be used to pay for the tuition for one test preparation course, including required Kaplan course materials, in the type of scholarship the applicant has applied for.
Amount: Equivalent to one Kaplan Test Prep through a course-waiver (excluding one-on-one tutoring)
To apply: Compose an essay (5,000 characters max, including spaces) on why you are interested in applying to this type of professional school, for which you are taking the test. E-mail your essay to Dr. Kiana Shiroma (email@example.com) by the appropriate deadline.
