The Tropical Medicine graduate students demonstrated diagnostic techniques in urinalysis and parasitology. The Niigata students and their advisor, Dr. Yasuo Tsuchiya, visited JABSOM’s Department of Medical Technology to learn about clinical laboratory sciences and to collect data for their graduation theses, which are presented at their local scientific symposium. Dick Teshima, Chair of the Department of Medical Technology, Sheri Gon, Claire Ying, and Dr. Ji-Sook Ha hosted the group from Japan for one week in February 2015.
