James T. Griffith, Ph.D., CLS (NCA) Chancellor Professor & Graduate Program Director, University of MassachusettsA little-known river virus has become a global concern in less than a year. This session will cover historic, geographic and epidemiologic aspects of the current and previous outbreaks. Attention will be given to diagnostics, specimen transport and the status of treatment options. Future implications will also be covered.
