About the Scholarship

The College of Education is pleased to offer a new scholarship for students in the Online Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Secondary Education (OPBCSE) Program in Math and Science.

This scholarship--up to $9,000--is provided by LEI Aloha's federally-funded Connections to Teaching Careers project.

Eligibility: To receive the Connections to Teaching Careers Scholarship, you must be:
1) admitted into the Math/Science OPBCSE program;
2) a U.S. citizen or resident alien;
3) able to meet the requirements of the scholarship agreement.

Instructions: To apply for the scholarship, go to the How to Apply section and follow the instructions.

Scholarship application deadline will vary according to when you are admitted into the Math/Science OPBCSE Program.

Service Obligation (scholarship recipients): Graduates must teach at a high-need* school (preferably in Hawai'i) for at least three semesters.
*See Questions & Answers page for the definition of "high-need".
