A concert to honor the music of Queen Liliu‘okalani and her siblings, known as Na Lani ‘Eha, or the Heavenly Four. Featuring Walea and special guest artists Alan Akaka and Bobby Ingano, ‘Alewa and Isaac Woodward. Timeless mele like “Aloha ʻOe” and “Ke Aloha O Ka Haku” to be played on kingdom-era instruments collected by the Hawai’i State Archives. Hand-written sheet music and other documents from Her Majesty’s personal manuscript collection will also be on display.
