Matthew England is Scientia Professor of Ocean & Climate Dynamics at the University of New South Wales Climate Change Research Centre and Deputy Director of the Australian Centre for Excellence in Antarctic Science. England’s research explores large-scale ocean circulation and its influence on regional and global climate, from the tropics to Antarctica. England is a Fellow of the Australian National Academy of Science and a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union. He also serves as the Academic Lead of the International Universities Climate Alliance.
