Welcome to the UH Mānoa Smoke-Free Campus Website

Smoke-Free Campus: As of January 1, 2016 - Including E-cigarettes and All Other Electronic Smoking Devices; Chapter 328J, HRS

Effective January 1, 2016: e-cigarette use is included in Hawaiʻi's smoke-free laws, which means that e-cigarette use is now prohibited where smoking and /or using tobacco products is prohibited. Hawaiʻi also became the first state in the nation to require that you must be at least 21 years old to purchase, use, or possess any tobacco products including e-cigarettes.

We encourage all persons, including students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors, to refrain from smoking while on property owned or operated by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa for a healthier environment. "Smoking" includes, but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and smoking tobacco. Mahalo!
