Happy New Year Pre-Vet Clubbers!
We’d like to welcome you to the Spring 2013 semester and wish you all a great semester and thank those of you who attended the semester’s first general meeting. This semester we have a lot of great volunteer and social events planned, and the first upcoming one is volunteering with the Hawaiian Humane Society with their Doggy Date Night, check our events page for more info! Our next general meeting will be Monday, February 4th at 6PM in the usual AgSci building in Room 219 where we will be having a guest veterinarian to speak to us about working as a federal veterinarian. Lastly, we would like to welcome our new secretary, Melissa Dumas! Hope to see you all at the next meeting!

Hey PVC-ers, we hope you are all enjoying your last few weeks of summer. For new students who are interested in joining our club or returning members who want to continue the fun, please come and check us out at the first meeting of the semester on September 5th at 5:00pm. We will be passing out paperwork required to sign up with us, collecting club dues ($20 for the semester, $30 for the year), and having a guest speaker from the Veterinary Medicine program at Ross University, as well as discussing upcoming events of the semester.

Election Nominations & More

Hello, Pre-Vet Clubbers! Hopefully you’ve all survived the onslaught of midterms. As a reminder, election nominations are due by March 22nd. If you haven’t had the chance and are serious and reliable about becoming an active part in shaping the Pre-Vet Club, you can nominate yourself or someone else at the nominations page. In addition, be sure to RSVP for sheep shearing/vaccinations and suture lab by March 21st! Otherwise, we will not be able to guarantee you a spot for the events. Our next general meeting will be on April 5th, where we will be holding our elections. To find out more about the nominees, check back to this website over spring break.

Welcome to Pre-Vet Club’s new website! We now have a new events page that allows users to view events as a list or as a monthly calendar. If any of the events have more information such as cost or contact phone numbers to RSVP you can simply click the link of any event and a page will come up that will contain any additional relevant information to the event. Some pages such as the resources page are still in process of being updated, but feel free to look around and email us about any suggestions you have for the new website!

Remember that our 3rd general meeting is on Wednesday, March 7th! We will be having sign ups for upcoming events and fundraising and discussing the details of upcoming election nominations.
