Certain university offices may place a hold on your account to prevent you from registering, making registration changes (e.g., adding courses), or accessing enrollment and other services like transcripts, diplomas, etc. This usually occurs if you have not fulfilled certain requirements such as financial obligations, health clearance, academic advising, etc.

Check for Holds

  • Login to MyUH opens in windows
  • Select View Holds
  • The phone number of the office that placed the hold should be listed under the Originator box
  • Contact the office indicated to determine the steps needed to clear and remove your hold

Note: If you clear a financial hold online, you must contact the office that placed the hold to have the hold removed from your account. Review Financial Holds for a list of common financial holds and contact information.
