Financial Assistance

Students and their families should view the Cost of Attendance when planning their academic career at the University of Hawai‘i. The estimated budget is used to determine the applicant’s need for financial assistance. The UHM Financial Aid Services website offers information on financial aid programs offered by the University.

The Office of Public Health Studies offers student support funds through graduate assistantships and various scholarship awards such as Graduate Division Achievement Scholarships, the Elmer J. Anderson Travel Award, the Joseph E. Alicata Memorial Award, and the Robert M. Worth Epidemiology Scholarship.

The University's Graduate Student Organization (GSO) represents the academic interests of over 5,000 UHM graduate students and offers a Grants & Awards fund.
