True Stories of Recovery September 2010 Airdates

During September, Hooikaika will be re-airing a TV program about living with traumatic brain injury entitled “Life Goes On After Traumatic Brain Injury: True Stories of Recovery.”

Synopsis

Host Robin Brandt interviews two Hooikaika Peer Mentoring Project volunteers recovering from a traumatic brain injury. They will share how their lives changed since their injury and their hopes for the future through mentoring. Traumatic brain injury is a lifelong condition which affects nearly 8,000 people a year in Hawaii.
