If You’ve Been Accused

If you have been accused of sexual violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating/domestic violence or stalking, there are comprehensive support services available to help you understand your rights and the investigation and adjudication processes.

The PAU Violence Program Respondent Support Staff member can provide services to any University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa student who has been accused of misconduct by another student.

Respondent Support Services will:

  • Help you understand your rights
  • Provide you with a safe listening space
  • Explain and help you navigate the investigation and adjudication processes, including formal hearings
  • Support and connect you with campus and off-campus resources

It is important to note that the respondent support person is NOT legally required to maintain confidentiality, and does NOT provide any legal advice to the respondent.
