The Pre-Health/Pre-Law Advising Center (PAC), formerly known as the Professions Advising Center, is a walk-in resource center for students interested in law, medicine (allopathic, chiropractic, naturopathic, osteopathic, podiatric), or the health sciences (dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, physician assistant, occupational therapy, physical therapy, veterinary medicine, etc.).
We're here to help!
Our mission is to guide students in discovering their paths in life and in transforming their professional dreams into reality.
PAC is staffed by peer advisors trained to help you clarify your career goals, choose a major, plan appropriate coursework, research professional programs, find opportunities to gain experience, and apply to schools. Come in and get started on the right track towards your professional career!
No appointment is necessary!
Come in for advising or to use resources any time PAC is open. Our hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
PAC is located at the heart of the Mānoa campus, in QLCSS 101, on Varney Circle. For general questions, call (808) 956-4045 or e-mail uhpac@hawaii.edu.
If you are not on island or unable to visit us in-person, webcam advising is available using
software.

Freshman Pre-Registration:
As part of the Freshman Registration Opportunities (FRONT) system, freshmen can register beginning May 15. This
step-by-step guided system offers students several options for choosing their courses and requests courses for you based on your area of interest. Click Freshman Pre-Registration to register!
Access to College Excellence (ACE) for Freshmen:
To ease the transition from high school to college, First Year Programs offers ACE learning communities with a combination of three general education courses and a small group, 1-credit integrating seminar (CAS 110: Access to the College Community) led by an upperclassman peer mentor. PAC recommends students to register through ACE learning communities. Click ACE for more information on the learning communities and freshman seminars.
