  • The Hawaii Educational Policy Center
The purpose of the Hawai'i Educational Policy Center (HEPC) is to provide objective, data-based information in the form of policy briefs, reports, articles, and forums bearing on public and private education policy and practices at all levels.
  • The 2004 National Study of Faculty and Students
This research combines two of the most important national studies of postsecondary education sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). The National Study of Postsecondary Faculty (NSOPF) is designed to capture changes over time in the background characteristics, workloads, and career paths of postsecondary faculty and instructional staff. The National Postsecondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS) is designed to provide information on how students and families meet the cost of education beyond high school. In addition, institutions selected for NPSAS:04 will provide the longitudinal sample for an important follow-up study, the Beginning Postsecondary Study (BPS), which will examine national rates of postsecondary persistence.
